The first page of a two-page comic, consisting of three horizontal panels stacked on top of each other.
Panel 01 has a drawing of Ayaka Kamisato from Genshin Impact wearing a simple robe and sitting in a room with traditional Japanese architecture working with some unfinished material as she weaves something with a loom shuttle in one hand. She has a calm smile on her face. To her left is a piece of furniture with a frame photo of the Traveller, Lumine, eating pizza like a goddamned maniac, her eyes wide and her cheeks puffed out as she stuffs her face.
Panel 02 features Ayaka in her regular outfit with an old-fashioned duffel bag slung across her shoulders and a determined expression on her face. We see that she is on the docks at Ritou port. In the background Thoma reaches out towards her, shouting, as if begging her not to embark on a perilous journey. On his right side, Ayaka’s brother, Ayato places his hands on Thoma, counselling him to let Ayaka go.
Panel 03: Ayaka walks uphill across the landscape of Nod Krai, where trees and mountains are visible in the background, carrying the duffel bag over her back with only a cloak to protect her from the torrents of rain.
The second page of the comic
Panel 01, Ayaka comes up to a typically ramshackle snnhouse in Nodkrai thfat has been built right by a rocky ridge with a platform for a porch. Rain still comes down and she is hunched over and shaking.
Panel 02: A headshot of Lumine, opening the door and looking utterly surprised. This version of Lumine has a gap between her two front incisor teeth, two moles on her left cheek, a scar across the bridge of her nose and a long scar running from the corner of her mouth and along her right cheek, though it is partially obscured her hair.
Panel 03: Ayaka and Lumine are now huddled inside of the house underneath a quilt. Ayaka looks tired with flushed cheeks and a runny nose clutching a used handkerchief. Lumine has an arm around her and smiles warmly as she wears the patterned Japanese scarf that Ayaka made for her.
I threatened to do some proper Ayalumi shipping and so here it is. This idea came to me when Ayaka's birthday e-mail last year where talked about weaving a scarf for the Traveler. #Genshinfanart #yuri #Lumine #shortcomics
