One year ago today, I went in for cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with a planned hemicolectomy and HIPEC. This surgery, dubbed the mother of all surgeries, was over 10 hours long. It was the hope that I might reach No Evidence of Disease (NED) through this that carried me through. #coloncancer #stageIV
