Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 15/02/26 This weekend was going to be a nice four day one, but I decided to split my days off so taking this coming Friday instead. Which is my long winded way of saying I have done little to nothing of note all week again. weather was a little lacking on the sunshine front. Even the local canal paths are basically a pile of mud so decent walking out of the question.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 07/12/2025 And another week passes us by. Seven days closer to Christmas. Seven more days of reading and not writing reviews - do not ask how many I have to catch up on now. I am trying not to think about it. Decisions have been (sort of) made, and I am still not sure how I feel about it. But the big thing this week is that #Bookvent is well and truly underway and my first eight books have, as of this morning, been revealed!

A great month for this #CrimeFiction fan with two brilliant authors returning to beloved characters. First #StuartMacbride brought back #LoganMcRae. And I'm really enjoying the return of #TomThorne thanks to #MarkBillingham. And as ever Mark's #Audible narration is superb.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 24/05/25 Okay. So I still haven't finished sorting through my Norway pictures so this week I am bringing to you a collection of baby photos. Baby birds that is. Last time I took a decent walk along the canal the swans were nesting and there were only a couple of baby moorhens around. No ducklings at all. What a difference a month makes as the canal was awash with new life today.
