Infographic. Did you know? Falls are the leading trauma injury for elderly Minnesotans. The rate of falls leading to hospitalization increases every year except for 2020.

Preventing falls is important for the health outcome of elderly adults, as falls are the most common cause of hospitalization both statewide and nationally. Center member Kristin Colling participated in implementing "Stop the falls" community health events (PMID: 39610676). #umn #mn #traumacare
