The head and a few inches of body of a strikingly pretty Watersnake - appearing from beneath one plank and resting it's head upon another. Snake has a cocoa brown upper body, with noticably keeled scales on its back. It's chin and underbelly are a reddish orange color. There are several dark brown vertical stripes from the lip down to the the chin. Dark eyes have round pupils.
