In this view, it is not quite a month past when Hurricane Helene ravaged the area last year, and the remaining standing trees are stripped of a lot of their foliage and branches. The trees are silhouetted against a vibrant, multi-hued sky that transitions from a deep blue at the top to warm oranges and yellows near the horizon at sunset.
