Thanks! Yes, no broken bones on my photoshoots is the number one goal every time I go!

I'm not sure of their total range, but you can see it throughout the southeast US. They are especially beautiful in our clear springs.
It really is. A beautiful symmetric falls. I need to get back there for another shoot.
They get fewer and fewer the farther south you go. But we even have a few in Florida! Georgia has many, especially more north.
Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BlackHeads. I think this black skimmer fits. #photography #wildlife #wildlifephotography #EastCoastKin #birds #birdsinflight
Today's #ColorADay theme is #RedWed, anything red. This is Ludwigia repens, a stunning type of primrose that grows submersed in our #springs in North #Florida. I made this image years ago while snorkeling in my favorite spring. #photography #landscape #EastCoastKin #underwaterphotography #Ikelite
It's #WaterfallWednesday. This is Factory Creek Falls in west central Georgia. It's stunning. I made as many images as I could trying not to break any bones getting down to river level. #photography #landscape #EastCoastKin #waterfalls #rivers #Nikon
That's wonderful, Mira.
That's remarkable.
I'm on it!
I love my 550. But I've never achieved colors like that before. I'll have to break it out again. I've been having fun doing 720nm and converting to BNW lately.
I did! That's Tides Out for sure.
Definitely far enough! ๐๐
Thank you! I think these infrared images process to black and white very well.
All it takes is a good eye. My Galaxy S26+ is a third camera on every outing I take. I use it all the time. Cell phone cameras are amazing these days.
Wow, OK, that tide is WAY out!
Thank you, Robyn!
Wow, that's a massive tide!
Oh that's nice. And wow, 60 x 90?! Wall size!
Thank you, Alice!
I wish I had a dollar for every good subject I've walked right by. I'd be rich! ๐
Oh wow, that's cool! ๐
Crazy! We have maybe a meter or so in change.
Thank you. It is my hope as well. Before it's too late.
No way. Anyone can do this. My infrared camera is set up and works exactly the same as my regular color camera. All I have to do is slip in the infrared filter and fire away. Even processing is not all that much different. All you have to have is a converted camera. And then time in the field!
You're very welcome!
Thank you, Robert. It was so interesting to be in this spot with all the downed trees. And stark direct light. About the only thing I could do was to shoot infrared. My color camera images were all washed out.
Thank you. I tend to err on the side of keeping places like this a bit of a secret. But it is in the central panhandle of North Florida.
Thank you, Linda!
Yep! It's a name given to beaches where there are lots of downed and dead trees that stay there for a while. :-)
