Two male Northern Cardinals in flight amidst a dense network of bare tree branches, one at the top of the picture, one below. The top cardinal has a tiny bit of motion blur as it flies to the right, wings spread and angled down slightly, backlit by sunlight. The second cardinal is positioned near the bottom and facing left, its red wings spread in front of it as it gets ready to land and turn around.
