Running .NET 10.0 on FreeBSD 15.0 Our projects have always been designed with cross-platform support in mind, with C# being the primary chosen language because our flagship project, Nitrocid, was released in 2018. Currently, we are using the modern .NET 10.0 framework released last year to power our projects, but our most recent project, which is Aptivi Development Toolkit (ADT), used Python for its purpose.

We have tested .NET 10.0 on FreeBSD 15.0, and it worked! 🎉

Launchpad projects for our projects have been removed Following the silent deprecation of our usage of Launchpad Projects to manage our projects and their announcements back in 2023 when we released the first beta version of Nitrocid 0.1.0, we have to take a hard decision. Prior to the release of Nitrocid 0.1.0 Beta 1, project release announcements used to be published in Launchpad project announcement board for every version released.

Launchpad projects for our projects have been removed, following the Bazaar shutdown.

Samsung will add Galaxy S26’s features to the Galaxy S25 with One UI 8.5! When Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26 on February 25th's Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, they revealed all the innovations that were made, especially when it comes to new Galaxy AI features. Call screening uses artificial intelligence (AI) to filter unwanted calls and to manage them, and is currently available on the Galaxy S26 series. Initially, Samsung made call screening and other features that were introduced with the Galaxy S26 exclusive to this year's flagship device series, which caused community outrage.

Samsung releases an announcement clarifying about Galaxy S26's AI features on the Galaxy S25 with One UI 8.5!

How Nitrocid solves problems related to threading? Aptivi Newsroom has just published an article explaining how Nitrocid solves problems related to threading when it comes to managing threads. This includes stopping and restarting the same thread without creating a new class instance of the thread by abstracting this procedure away from end developers. When Nitrocid's kernel thread management system was first introduced, it was made as a solution to a common issue that talked about restarting the same thread without a new instance of the thread class.

How Nitrocid KS manages threads? And how does it abstract thread regeneration process once a thread stops?

UNIX Fourth Edition on SIMH v3.12-5 UNIX v4 was officially released for the DEC PDP-11/45 computers on November 1973, when those computers were the only computers eligible for this version of UNIX. Since then, it was thought to be lost until November 7th when the tape has been rediscovered. Apparently, this tape was sitting somewhere in one of the storage rooms in the University of Utah.

We have tested UNIX Fourth Edition with SIMH v3.12-5, and it worked!

Embracing stability and security of our projects Our projects always show their high quality and stability, because they're battle tested with different conditions under consideration. Our applications currently use our libraries as part of their dependencies to ensure that this is possible. With that in mind, we are introducing a layer of stability and performance to our projects, which is a big plus. However, we think that improvements are needed to ensure that we embrace them, along with security, without compromising their quality overall.

Stability and security of our projects will witness quality-of-life changes!
