Oh!!! Look closely at frame1. His playfulness is given an elevated context because he's got the 'side-eye' going on there, as well.

We're truly fed up with the 'officialization' of profanity. At OUR level in this world an effin' this or that -or an EFF YOU can often be appropriate. But he & his ilk are always inappropriate shitheads. -ALL of them. Stoopid effers. Uncouth. Undereducated. -Sheep with foul mouths & absence of mind.

Yeah-h-h, me/us too. It was some +40yrs of truly incredible 'fortune' for us all. BUT -I'm still here I keep reminding myself. Esophageal cancer really did a number on me & they said it'd eventually likely go in unexpected directions at a point. It SLOWLY did. I snuck in about another 10yrs of work!

@stroejummer.bsky.social Going to try me w/the certainly better, newer tech screens w/current computers, sometime soon. I'd LOVE to get back to work. I'll be honest, it's been devastating. Actually, the migraines feel like a disastrous mega-hangover! It's near ER nasty. Could be meds? Who knows.

@stroejummer.bsky.social I should mention that I gave up on computer screens & photoediting (& I even need to be cautious with phones!) several years ago. We weren't able resolve -they trigger horrid migraines! Notepads & small laptops can get me. At least I can still do TV&cinema from aways back!

Early digital. Plus I've nearly always added 'noise'/'film grain'(program depending)layers to(especially the photos of people)our work. But yeah -probably the product of an early Fujifilm that had more megapixels than most back then. However it could also have been one my very earliest Canon DSLRs.

Our buff colored (off-white, a slightly warm tone) Standard Poodle is sihouetted in the very late light of the day, playing with his favorite ball! His head is tipped back, throwing his ears back. He's a happy dog, in all of these pictures!

Again, our neutered male Standard Poodle in a closeup picture of him wanting you to take his ball from his mouth, to throw it for him to chase after! He's taunting you to play & he's very-very happy! He is certainly smiling -his face shows it!

Again, our neutered male Standard Poodle (buff colored/off white) is happily offering his ball to play fetch. He has long soft hair on his ears and tail. Standard Poodles don't have fur! It's actually structured the same as hair & does not shed! It's usually curly & soft. (Although it can be less soft on other places on their bodies. It's still soft though, and doesn't shed) Poodles are hypoallergenic!

We've used a similar setting for a shoot. Love those long, impossibly strait dirt/gravel roads! On wet years there's waterfowl/badgers/burrowing owls/antelope/hawks/golden eagles/corvids&more. There's several such roads across this broad desert valley, roads to equally impressive fenceless places!

From one side a very small hole in a rugged & rocky geological formation is noticed. This view offers a small oval patch of sky blue through it. There are three or more patches of blossoming desert scrub vegetation growing on this rocky facing of the ridge of craggy stone. The vegetation is brightly lit by the sunlight.

In this view, a larger opening of an arch becomes apparent, after climbing up the harsh & craggy rock ridge. In looking through the hole of the archway is a patch of blue sky beyond the mountainous view that's now visible through it!

A vertical framing of the previous horizontal composition. This view contains the entirety of the arch/archway and its very rocky hole. It's a very-very brightly lit representation of the multi-colored geological formation.

Finally we are looking at the arch from its other side! The sky is blue but filled with whispy white clouds, looking the opposite direction! This geological formation looks entirely different from this side! Most of the rock is visible but darker. The rough upper stone archway is brightly lit. This backside of the ridge is mostly of a gentle grassy rise, up to the arch! You can walk right up to the formation, unlike the difficult climb up the ridgeline from the arches other side. (The grassy rise up to the formation isn't visible in this representation of the formation. Please note this; however it is worth mentioning the ease of the approach of the rock formation. Perhaps on this side of the ridge it was once a gravel or sandy beach of the ancient Lake Bonneville. The lake covered much of the Great Basin thousands of years ago.)

We've definitely given him a 'sentient being' status in recent years. There's just SO much 'in there' that we're working w/it, paying close attention to it, and even at times being cautious of it. He JUST turned 7yrs & truly picked up that he was involved w/a different sort of day all about him! 😆

A desert landscape taken by means of phone imaging from a place called Skunk Ridge that lies on the furthest north end of Utah's Cedar Mountains. The scene overlooks some dry desert scrub/plant growth, and a nearby row of very rugged & dark rocks. Beyond that is a broad, dry valley called Puddle Valley. The low-lying Grassy Mountains provide us with a deep blue & purple horizon. We are looking roughly west northwest in direction.

Here, we are looking southward from a place called Skunk Ridge, again, towards the northern end of Utah's Cedar Mountains. There's dry desert scrub brush & grasses in front of part of this very rough, rocky ridge. The mountains are just beyond the rugged rocks. Off in the distance are Ripple Valley & a very faint Granite Peak, on the horizon.

-Looking north across a winding, rocky road leading slowly down & northeast-ward, we see the north end of Utah's Lakeside Mountains. It's a rugged scene of desert scrub and rocks. This is also a view of the very northern end of Skull Valley, and the arc of a branch of the Union Pacific Railroad can faintly be seen just beyond the disappearing dirt road. This branch of railroad tracks leads to some mining operations up in the mountains. Again, we are on top of Skunk Ridge at the northern end of the Cedar Mountains. It's dry & windy.

On Mud's 1st birthday in 3/31/20. He's just now 7. He was already SO completely dialed in w/his training & connectivity at the time! He was already enthralled w/wild places, so it came in handy! Somewhere there's pics of his very first outing, unfenced -as well as several of 1st mountain snow!

A note: It was/is not uncommon for us to be using two or more camera bodies&lenses outfitted for different desired effects in advance. -Monochrome, color, aperture/shutter speed, etc. in consideration for use&alongside of lenses interchangeably equipped w/various SFX lens filters attached. ‐Is fun!

-Several species in our west deserts also frequently nest atop of these sparse, but lengthy rows of poles & their lines. Some of lines & rows of poles seem to lead to nowhere. There's all types of extraction/mining ops/ranches/very-very secretive military bases&firing ranges in all manner of places!

4 days ago 1 0 0 0

Especially in our plateau desert valleys where the poles give them needed height advantages! (Raptors, certainly!) There's no tall trees unless they're associated w/human habitation. These eagles & hawks do have a few taller trees in nearby low-lying mountains. It's better hunting in the valleys!

Addendum: It's STILL nearly a daily thing for me to catch myself thumbing through my saved files of drawings, paintings, sculpture, etc. & even ornate jewelry & objects in consideration/their creative orientation. Even though I'm effectively retired from image making of people, animals, places, etc!

Also Mom was a painter; she also readily studied composition. I remember folders of prints of pieces of other artists/painters that she kept. She'd share her favorites with a little me! So if it was inherent in me, she certainly bolstered it! (Music too; Dad would show us around the keyboard/piano.)
