About 16 years ago I got a promo Avatar of Woe when I went to a MagicCon in Amsterdam. It wasn't called that, but I also didn't have a kid then, so I don't remember 😄
Anyway, I got mine there signed by @postrk.bsky.social (many thanks!) and just got nostalgic while putting it in a #mtg #cmdr deck 🤩
The more I think about it, the less I like Splinter’s Technique in #CMDR.
It’s the card I was the most hyped about when #MTGTMT was first revealed. But I feel like it only belong in certain decks and it’s likely not the bomb I thought it would be.
A few days before the release of Battlebond, I published what may have been the first Grothama #CMDR deck tech, and and at that weekend's SCGCON once I snagged a copy of the single I played a couple games with it & instantly fell in love with the weird Wurm articles.starcitygames.com/articles/fig...
I don't always equip things that aren't equipment cards, but when I do, it's in an Eivor, Battle Ready commander deck!

5. My Konrad Peasant #CMDR loves these run of the mill small creatures interacting with the graveyard.
Most importantly, "Paramecia Coloniex" sounds like the next Coheed and Cambria album.
