Welp that’s finally the OG Eddy Bear with the kit’s yarn. Gave him a huge forehead.
The yarn itself was perfectly fine. The one detail I have with the kit is that it says it includes 4 stitch markers, but there was only one… and it broke nearly instantly.

Looking a little more like the Tin Woodsman than the Wicked Witch, but we’ll see what happens with this hat as we progress.
This black acrylic yarn is ancient and a little scratchy, but I already own it. #crochet
A nearly-finished crochet doily is spread out on my black desktop with a separate new yarn cake sitting on the doily’s center. The new yarn cake is another indie-dyed creation I will work on immediately following the last round of the doily under it. The doily features a ROYGBIV rainbow with purple at the center which is near the top of the image and fading through blue, green, yellow, orange, and red at the bottom of the image. Each color is added one strand at a time providing a very gradual fade. There is also a single black thread running throughout this colorway giving it a stained glass feel. My wood and aluminum crochet hook is visible engaged in the red yarn at the bottom right of this image.
Just one more round in my current wip before it meets its 30” parasol frame, so it didn’t really feel like a WiP. To make up for it I’ve included my next indie-dyed skein for #WiPWednesday It’s by Rena’s Threads again.
