A photograph of a close up of a rope swing or at least a thickish branch hanging from a thicker equivalent by a piece of bright green rope. On a bright day the green is prominent against the more muted greens and browns and golds of a landscape coming back to life as spring approaches. A wise person I’d met that morning made points about the land never really having experienced winter as I or he would have known them decades earlier as a warning re climate change. And looking back on this image he was mostly right. The landscape of Kent at least didn’t this year appear to become fully dormant. For example many trees still have some leaves be they autumnal coloured or not, still hanging from them.

A photograph taken from a low position ostensibly of a clutch of snowdrops growing in the shade of a large tree. The tree only visible at its thick ivy covered base and flanked by others into the background. An access cover made of metal and a little prominent is also visible in the mid ground and the awesome light of late morning plays on it and the background of the image (beyond the shade of the large tree) as a portent of the oncoming season then (few weeks ago) just weeks away!! Not a technically proficient photo but great in my opinion for its spirit! But I would say that of course.
