A cluster of cowslips (a far less poetic collective noun) growing wild in one of the verges at the allotments.
It was a pity that I couldn't quite get them all in focus. A pleasure to behold nonetheless! 😍
This was about the best close-up I managed to get. I had to crop and "sharpen" it a bit.

The big "pond" at the allotments looked lovely this early evening just gone. The koi was on the left hand side, towards the top of the second photo. I say "pond" because it's actually a slow-moving leat (artificial waterway) once used to turn mills in the production of gunpowder 😬 #kent #england
