1 min later: where do the files get saved to
3 min later: how do I open a specific file
10 min later: program.rom document.txt -> program quiet
11 min looks at the code dosnt read a thing

Psion Series 7 computer
Orc from Lord of the Rings - looks like series 7 is back on the menu, boys!
The offending 750mA FG fuse on my Series 7. Shorting this has solved my problem (partially). Now to find a new one...
I am *delighted*!!! I have managed to resurrect (timing, eh?) my previously non-working #Psion Series 7!!! Screen has issues, but this is major progress! #Retrocomputing #Permacomputing

Today I feel quasi-optimistic, so I am increasing the odds its going to happen. The opposite of SSS (Statistical Spaggeti Softare) now in vogue (also known as Large Linguini Marinara) are mathematically irreducible, minimalistic impementations (open source, once and for all, #permacomputing)

Siena repair - not pretty, but this is proof-of-principle - I will tidy it up with proper tape.
A dinky wee Psion Siena in all its retrocomputing / permacomputing glory - look at the layout of the number buttons! It's a fantastic little programmable scientific calculator, running EPOC16 - the operating system for the incredible Psion Series 3+ range of handheld computers from the 1990s
A few more Psion Siena repairs - tape for proof of principle - I'll be tidying this up in due course (with bookbinding tape - my fave). I'm starting to like the Siena again - it's limited, but dinky, super portable and crazy retro. #Psion #Retrocomputing #Permacomputing #RightToRepair
