Working on a Helldivers helmet and just finished the first big sanding pass. Next step is filler and then another round of sanding. Large prop builds are basically just sanding projects with occasional painting.

Working on a Mythosaur skull wall mount and just finished assembling and cleaning up all the glue that tried to escape during assembly. Still raw black PLA but the detail already looks great. Sanding and weathering next.

How strong my resin printed props? Time for science! Parts are 2-2.5mm thick Elegoo ABS-like resin v3.0 gray, often with wood dowels. They do great with swings and light to medium impacts, but are not suitable for clashing or strong impacts

Small Alad V arm ring bases are glue together, the extra bits get attached after painting. Also printing the side pieces for the big rings in resin since my FDM printer is busy rn (but also always had some issues with printing these pieces fsr?)
