“3위 시상대 입성”…민현기, APMC 카트 주니어 클래스 쾌거 #민현기 #APMC #대한자동차경주협회 스리랑카 반다라가마의 스리랑카 카팅 서킷에서 펼쳐진 2025 아시아 태평양 모터스포츠 챔피언십(APMC) 현장은 참가 선수들과 관중들의 열기로 가득했다. 숨막히는 레이스가 이어지는 가운데, 모두가 최종 시상대의 주인공을 주목했다. 민현기(스피드파크)는 카트 주니어 클래스에 출전해 16명 중 3위를 차지하며 한국 모터스포츠의 저력을 입증했다. 2025 APMC는 26일부터 28일까지 스리랑카에서 개최됐다. 아시아·태평양 25개국에서 200여 명이 넘는 드라이버들이 참가해 카트, 짐카나, e스포츠 등 6개 종목에서 실력을 겨뤘다. 대한자동차경주협회는 이번 대회에 카트 스프린트, 짐카나, e스포츠 등 3개 종목에 6명의 선수를 파견했다. “3위 시상대 입성”…민현기, APMC 카트 주니어 클래스 쾌거 / 연합뉴스 카트 주니어 클래스에서는 민현기가 인상적인 레이스를 펼치며 유일하게 시상대에 올랐다. 민현기는 여러 주행에서 꾸준한 기록을 보이며 치열한 경쟁 끝에 최종 3위를 기록했다. 카트 시니어 부문에 출전한 권호탁은 9위, e스포츠의 유지환은 준결승까지 진출하며 선전했다. 짐카나 부문에 출전한 박희석(12위), 임재백(17위), 박희석(18위)은 각각 메달권 진입에 도전했으나 입상에는 실패했다. 대한자동차경주협회는 "민현기의 입상은 한국 모터스포츠의 미래인 카트 분야에서 새로운 유망주가 탄생함을 보여주는 성과"라고 밝혔다. 또한 “다른 종목에 참가한 선수들도 국제무대에서 경험을 쌓으며 가능성을 입증했다”고 평가했다. 대한자동차경주협회는 앞으로도 국제대회 파견 및 선수 육성을 이어가며, 더 높은 성적 달성을 목표로 한다고 전했다.

“6명 대표팀 출전 확정”…대한자동차경주협회, APMC 통해 아시아 무대 도전 #대한자동차경주협회 #APMC #권오탁 스리랑카 반다라가마의 스리랑카 카팅 서킷은 오는 26일부터 28일까지 국가 대항 모터스포츠의 뜨거운 열기로 가득 찰 전망이다. 대한자동차경주협회가 24일 밝힌 대로, 2025 아시아퍼시픽 모터스포츠 챔피언십(APMC)에 파견되는 한국 대표팀 6명이 출전 준비를 마쳤다. 2025 APMC는 국제자동차연맹(FIA) 아시아-태평양 지역 실무단이 주관하며 모터스포츠 기초 종목의 성장을 목표로 한다. 올해 대회는 2023년 말레이시아에서 첫 대회가 열린 데 이어 두 번째로 개최되는 것으로, 아시아·태평양 25개국에서 200여명 이상의 드라이버가 참여해 각축전을 벌인다. “6명 대표팀 출전 확정”…대한자동차경주협회, APMC 통해 아시아 무대 도전 / 연합뉴스 한국 대표팀은 3개 종목에 6명을 출전시킨다. 카트 스프린트 부문에는 권오탁과 민현기가 나서고, 짐카나 종목에는 박종경, 박희석, 임재백이 도전한다. e스포츠 부문에는 유지환이 대표로 참가한다. 특히 선수들은 국내 선발전과 공식대회 성적을 근거로 선발돼 대표팀 자격을 획득했다. 대한자동차경주협회는 “한국 모터스포츠 선수들의 아시아 무대 역량 검증과 경험 축적에 중요한 기회가 될 것”이라고 강조했다. 이어 “선수들이 최고의 성과를 낼 수 있도록 협회 차원의 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다. 이번 대회 이후 대한자동차경주협회와 대표팀은 향후 국제무대 활약과 추가 선발전을 준비할 예정이며, 아시아권 모터스포츠 경쟁력 강화에 더욱 박차를 가할 예정이다.
