This is a female Superb Fairy Wren. She is mostly brown along the back of her head, back of her body, and long tail. Around her eyes it is a red-orange colour. She has a brown beak. She also has a pale greenish gloss. Under her chin and belly, it is a light colour, her long slender legs are brown.
For #SmallBirdSaturday let me introduce to a female Superb Fairy Wren. She is a rather elegant and sweet little thing. The males are mostly a bright, iridescent blue. But like most fellas, they are show-offs. Oops. 😉😁
