Nature will remind you
that you were never broken
Only momentarily forgotten…

Black and white close-up of small, delicate blossoms on a thin branch, softly lit against a blurred, dark background. Some buds are still closed, while others are open, their pale petals standing out against the shadows, creating a quiet and melancholic atmosphere.

Since you left,
the world forgot how to be anything but pale,
washed out, distant,
covered in a quiet, endless fog.

Like something is missing from everything.

This planet β€” with all its troubles β€” is worth caring for.

That should be our single purpose, as a species: To be stewards of this magnificent world, ensuring it thrives long into the future.

These were my first 'out of milkyway' observations through our observatory scope. I honestly couldn't believe i could see them!!! Ive imaged things with cameras, via long exposure stacking, stretching, denoising etc.... but to see them. Unreal...

A rusted spine of yellow steel,
Across the river, silent, still.
The old bridge, once bright and bold,
Now wears the patina of time and cold.
With creaking beams and girders gray,
It watches the years all slip away.
An iron sentinel, firm and true,
Holding memories of the passing view.

I love the star burst in the cigar shaped one (m82). Caused by the black hole inside!

M81 Bodes Galaxy and M82 Starburst Galaxy. Located in the Ursa Major constellation around 12 million lightyears away.

As we head out of winter, our night sky is looking away from nebulas within our milkyway. Instead we're looking out into the universe. Here we can observe other galaxys. This is M81 and M82. I was observing these through our big observatory scope a few nights ago. #astrophotography #astronomy #wow

Ancient tree with thick, twisting roots growing over a weathered stone wall at Bayham Abbey, framed against a soft pale blue sky and surrounded by sunlit grass.

First peacock #butterfly of this year. I saw two in one day a few days back but they’d flapped off before I’d even realised they were there. This is the first one I’ve managed to snap πŸ˜πŸ¦‹πŸ’›
