Bowness mixed up the lines but did his best to make sure Kent Johnson didn't play too many minutes. Monahan, though he started on the fourth line, took many of his shifts on the wing.

Seriously, our future leader and current stepped up and got it done when it was desperate times. I criticized hard for the past few games bc where were our leaders? Tonight we saw the guys step up who have said the right things. This was a team effort. I question the ot usage but solid effort. #CBJ
