My eldest daughter made homemade chocolate chip cookies for part of her high-school food course. She had to write the script for, and perform in a video of how she did it. I supervised, and helped a bit with the camera, but otherwise she did all the work.
She made a bunch of regular-sized cookies, but used the last of the dough to make two huge ones - one for each of us. There are few things as good as a still-warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie served with a glass of ice-cold milk! 😋🥰
Homemade chocolate chip cookies, cooling on the paper sheet on the table.
There WERE more cookies when we started - but it’s so hard to resist when they’re still all warm and gooey from the oven, and served with a glass of ice-cold milk! 🥰😋
A cartoon by Chris Hallbeck showing two of his characters interacting over a batch of homemade cookies:
Panel 1) Character A looking at Character B, saying “Hey, you’re baking cookies!” Character B (obviously making the cookies) replies “Yes, the bake sale for the kid’s class trip is tomorrow.”
Panel 2) Character A says “Awesome. How many are you making?” and Character B replies “I’ve made two dozen so far…”
Panel 3) The view zooms in on a plate of cookies, revealing only three cookies and some crumbs.
Panel 4) Character B turns to Character A, putting their hands on A’s shoulders and beseeching them “Help me! They are so good when they are still warm and the chocolate is all melty!”
So true… So VERY true… 😋😅
My eldest daughter had to do a baking project for her high school cooking class where she had to write a script, make a video based on the script, and actually make something edible. Homemade chocolate chip cookies for the win! 😋
