30 Italian civilians & 15 partisan fighters were killed in the #FraghetoMassacre on #ThisDayInHistory in 1944 by #Nazi troops. Following an ambush by partisans of the #EighthGaribaldiBrigade, the Wehrmacht went house-to-house in #Fragheto, shooting women, children, & the elderly.
