A dramatic upward-looking photograph at Zion National Park, looking west in the afternoon. Towering red and cream sandstone cliffs rise from the bottom of the frame, framing a brilliant cumulus cloud formation that billows upward against a deep blue sky, with the sun hidden just behind the cloud and casting golden light through its edges.
Looking west, I happened to find myself in a cloud's shadow during a hiking trip to Zion National Park. I had many scenic mountain photos already, so this was a good chance to try some high-contrast sky photography. #zionnationalpark #skyphotography #highcontrastphotography #landscapephotography
