A campaign flyer for Nasir Malik (candidate for Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Place 2) saying Protect Our Children in the header and then under that saying what the candidate plans to do to achieve that which are support programs that focus on rehabilitation, education and mentorship rather than harsh punishment, partner with schools, community groups and families to create alternatives to truancy fines and juvenile citations and ensure that no child is lost in the system by connection them with resources that put them back on the right path because a court should be a place of learning and growth, not a revolving door for our youth. The flyer then says The Texas Way, our youth deserve opportunities, not obstacles. Too often, young people who make mistakes are pushed deeper into the justice system instead of being guided toward better choices.
