When there are recommendations of using off-label medication like SSRIs to help with symptoms of #MECFS or #LongCovid, this is NOT psychologizing!
These substances are used to change brain chemistry, which can have positive effects e.g. in pain management.SSRIs are not “antidepressants” by design.
And I woke up this morning to the joy of bleeding eyes - if this was a more common side effect of long covid, I bet more people would avoid infection!
