I have to say, it’s something I like very much about Taika. He didn’t get to chat about #OurFlagMeansDeath in 2023, because most of that year was pre-S2, and strikes, then his own production promotion ( #NextGoalWins). But even now we see him wearing the “kraken” ring and freshwater pearl necklace.
Just started watching #NextGoalWins and I can't stop smiling. Already saw Taika, David Fane, Rachel, Will Arnet and Rhys (who plays a guy named Rhys!).
[BTW, he said Time Bandits S2 would be too expensive.] On #TaikaTuesday, Taika smiling and enjoying memories about his TV shows & movies. He loved working with the cast and crew on #NextGoalWins; and since #Hulu’s #InteriorChinatown (“a great show”) is so new, he shared a bit about the premise. 5/5

#NextGoalWins ist definitiv einer der besseren Fußballfilme mit viel Herz und einem guten Michael Fassbender. Leider wird kein Gedanke konsequent zu Ende geführt, kein Witz bis zum Ende erzählt. So bleibt ein seltsam leerer, aber immer unterhaltsamer Film über die Underdogs aus dem Paradies.
