Tima is an obese 8 year old cat who has not been eating since arriving at the shelter. Due to his obesity, not eating puts him at risk for hepatic lipidosis. Tima would benefit from a rapid shelter exit so he can be in a low stress environment, decompress, and have his appetite improve. Tima is a sweet shy boy who has allowed for all handling.

She will need daily maintenance with their medical condition and further follow up with outside vet care. Daisy Cake is a sweet cat that seeks attention and has allowed all medical handling. *Daisy Cake came to us at ACC after her previous owner passed away. While in care with us, she has been extremely friendly: soliciting attention, allowing all handling from staff, and lounging around in her kennel. She is a sweet senior lady, looking for a calm quiet home where she can rest, and receive pets and praise.

Prince is a 9 year old female gray/blue kitty with greenish yellow eyes. She is crouched in her kennel looking at the camera. She is located at Queens NYC ACC. *Prince is on the at-risk list due to behavior and medical concerns. He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. Due to his/her stress levels, it is in his best interest to move out of the kennel environment and into a stable home as quickly as possible. He would do best in a home with adopters who are willing to give him plenty of time and space to adjust, and who have experience with helping a fearful cat adjust to strangers. Medically, Prince is geriatric cat, missing most dentition, and has a heart murmur. She would benefit from rapid exit and being taken to a full service veterinary clinic.
