That was a fantastic and beautiful crossover, particularly the dancing at the end, which I don’t particularly care about, but it helped the rookie series before it transitioned to the second season.

Robert has literally posted photos of himself in his sheriff deputy costume on his insta, and he has told several interviewers that the reason that he couldn’t make the #HeatedRivalry premiere in Toronto was that was filming #SheriffCountry in Vancouver — so I KNOW we will see him again sometime.

(The episode last night DID include a guest performance from the always-welcome Christine Lahti (as current sheriff Mickey’s stepmom) and was part of a super-sized crossover event with #FireCountry — the program from which #SheriffCountry spun itself off — so it wasn’t a complete wash, i s’pose!)
