The Garden of Unfinished Stories
by Dr. Suvajeet Duttagupta
Aniruddh’s new house was perfect, at least on the surface. A charming little cottage, tucked away from the city’s ceaseless hum, it boasted a garden that was wild, overgrown, and begging for a logical mind to bring it to order. An architect whose world was built on precise measurements and tangible structures, he saw only potential. He had bought it for a steal, a price that, in retrospect, should have raised more questions than it did, but he believed it was the perfect place to forget; a quiet retreat after the quiet retreat his wife’s illness had become, and the garden, a chaotic tangle of life, resonating with his own internal grief, needed him to impose his will upon it.
