This character is dubbed "The Taker" effectively a grand cosmic evil that has a twisted love for mortals.
There from a campaign setting I've been editing and working on for years.
this character specifically never really comes up as there more part of the creation myth of the setting.
Design description, a inky black figure with no one true shape, their long smoky hair is lined with gilded black branches that form a "crown" on their head. Their head is translucent with a small black hole serving as their "eye".
I've been working on a custom campaign setting for 5+ years and this fella is the biggest bbeg
Creation myth : in the beginning there were 3 entities The Giver, The Taker, and Change, envious of there siblings ability the taker shattered the giver
Using the Givers body the taker forged the world but they could not kill their sibling instead merely fragmenting the giver into titles known as runes.
The runes continue to slowly reform when doing so The giver resurrects and battles there sibling once more, upon there defeat the taker forged a new age
Change remains hidden gathering mortal gifts of logic and emotion for The Giver hoping one day the cosmic conflict will end.
"Gods are beings that have escaped the cycle and always exist throughout ages"
"Runes can bind to objects, people, places and more, granting them immense magical potential based on the nature of what they bind to"
Bit outside my normal art style lol, but here's a lil bit of a rough sketch for a DND villain
Had a friend describe them as "imu but bug" lol
