Rushden Spire stands out well against the sky in this photo. Taken from the East end of the church, there's a chancel and side chapels, although the end wall is somewhat hidden by bushes and a tree. We can see parts of the large windows in the end wall.
The body is the church is not visible form here, we can see the side aisle sticking out to the left and the west end tower sticking up over the roof line. There are louvres visible, and pinnacles with arched supports to the tall tower. This has 3 sets of lights and carved balls (for want of a better description) running up the ridges.
The sky is blue with white puffy clouds.
The churchyard is green, and there are a lot of bushes and trees about, including some flowers, but the roses are not yet out.

Happy easter! To earn their Easter Eggs, the band at Rushden rang a quarter peal for the Easter Sunday service.
