Phoenix the pineapple green cheek conure much older (I think 8 or 9 in this shot?) Where there were once bright red feathers is now covered in creamy oranges, tans, and yellows with the red further down on the belly. She's puffing her chest out and throwing her head back.
How did I nearly forget? Happy 11th Hatchday, Phoenix! She doesn't have all those hot red feathers anymore - she re-absorbed them to fuel her own 🔥spice🔥.
