I KNOW what I did wrong.
#EASTERCON, I finally got to referee my Star Fleet Acadmemy scenario. Because it was 3 hours not the usual 4, & I had to finish early to get to a panel I was on, I cut the prolog/intro scene and went straight into character gen.
One of my players was an older lady.

Back from a very fun #eastercon but as well as the usual new books, t-shirts and laundry, I've also brought back the dreaded COVID 😞
Thankfully vaccines seem to have lessened the symptoms to a slightly annoying cold

Had an absolutely amazing first inperson #Eastercon, even accounting for the migraine that tried to eat my Sunday (and succeeded in eating a fair whack of what I wanted to talk about on the Gothic panel). Watched panels, chatted, bought books (and shinies) and got to sing a whole lot of filk as well

Been a bit down this weekend as it’s the first (nonCovid) #Eastercon I’ve missed in more than two decades (not by choice). But watching @notadric.bsky.social’s genuine joy watching the Artemis coverage has cheered me right up.

Help, I've been overrun! 48 tiny koalas snuck into my luggage at Eastercon. The best way to deal with this plague is to ship the koalas to MetropolCon in Berlin, where you can pick your very own tiny koala. #Eastercon #MetropolCon #Eurocon #Brisbane2028

I've been a fan of @emmanewman.bsky.social 's work since the Split Worlds came out, so it was a delight to be able to do her Guest of Honour interview yesterday at Eastercon
