HOW to request my and other authors’ books for your libraries @clarislamauthor
Here’s how: Literally, just request them to do so. Many libraries have “purchase suggestion pages” or a labelled equivalent on their websites where library patrons can fill out requests for which books they want to see in their libraries.
Important notes: Just because you requested libraries to carry specific books doesn’t mean they’re immediately obligated to purchase EVERY book you request. This could be due to many factors, but a main reason is the library’s budget (especially when requesting ebooks for their ebook catalogues because those are INCREDIBLY pricey). Also, in my experience with requesting books, they're less likely to take on books by self-published authors. However, it's still worth a try - especially if it’s popular enough!
