This is a realistic outdoor photograph of a handmade wooden insect hotel, also known as a bee hotel, mounted on the trunk of a large, lichen-covered tree. The insect hotel is a rectangular wooden structure with a slanted roof, tied securely to the tree with a thick rope. It is divided into three main horizontal levels, all densely packed with natural materials to provide nesting tubes for solitary bees and other beneficial insects. The top section contains hundreds of hollow bamboo and reed tubes of many different diameters and a few thick sawn-off wooden poles with holes drilled into them. A vertical wooden divider splits this top area into two parts. In the middle section, on the left side, there is a small, weathered wooden box with a narrow vertical slot cut into its front. To the right of the door, more bamboo tubes continue, some are missing, thus forming a gap. The bottom section is even more densely filled with a mix of bamboo tubes and larger wooden poles , many of which have multiple holes drilled into them. The wood throughout the hotel is natural brown and beige, showing signs of weathering and age. The background shows a wintry or late-autumn countryside scene: bare tree branches with a bit of frost or dew, a grassy field, and a distant fence under an overcast, pale grey sky. The overall atmosphere is calm, natural, and slightly cold. The photo is taken from a slightly low angle, focusing clearly on the insect hotel against the soft, blurred rural landscape.

The photograph captures the front entrance of a traditional building on a sunny day. In the center is a tall, impressive pair of heavy wooden double doors made of rich dark-brown wood. The doors are beautifully hand-carved with intricate patterns: large, starburst-shaped floral designs dominate the middle panels, while smaller eight-pointed star carvings fill the upper and lower sections. A simple metal door handle and a small lock are visible on the right-hand door. The doors sit inside a thick wooden frame. Directly above them, mounted on the wall, is a small square blue ceramic plaque with the bright white number “22” and a tiny golden decorative ornament on top. The building wall is divided into two horizontal bands of color: the upper half is a warm, textured golden-yellow, while the lower half is a deep earthy brown. On both sides of the main doors are small rectangular windows framed in wood and covered with metal security bars. Above each of these windows are matching carved wooden decorative panels with star patterns, just like the doors.
