Three versions of “Going Out” by Younger Younger 28s.
“Next Big Thing” (she wants to be a supermodel not a supermarket checkout girl), with “Ginger Determination” (Kevin does become a supermodel) and “Karaoke Queen” (he’ll show you 100 things you’ve never done if you give him the chance). Storytelling by Younger Younger 28s.
“Happy” - the first single I heard by Ned’s Atomic Dustbin. I still think it’s a great sound.
“Got To Know You”, “Still” and “Evil In My Room” by Blueburn. I cannot have played this for at least 20 years. I always thought “Evil In My Room” was the outstanding track, such a groove, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the other two songs sounded this evening.
Another dip in the ‘90s singles pile this evening.
Ned’s from the beginning of the decade, a double dose of Younger Younger 28s from the end and a bit of Blueburn from the middle. Fun.
