Thought the knee pain from my exercises came from skate-jumps, but I’m starting to think Bulgarian split squats were the real culprit. Knee’s stiff and sore—maybe that was too much. Looks like I’ll need some rest this weekend.

My son is back on the hockey field a year after a torn meniscus and two surgical repairs. I’m 36 wks into a year recovery. While he is at 100%, I wonder if I’ll get there too. However, walking, stairs, cycling, and running are going well.

For the first time since 21 June 2025, I went outside for a jogging session. Lovely to be outside again—tough, but great to get moving again. Most importantly: the knee feels good; the endurance will come back. No need to worry or rush.

My running session at physio this morning was a tough one: 5 minutes at 7.5 km/h, followed by 3 times 1 min at 10 km/h.

Today no exercises at physiotherapy, but the “hardening” in the rectus femoris muscle just above the patella was massaged loose. I’d been bothered by it for a few days. However, it’s not something to worry about.
