An orange and blue freight locomotive (Class 66, number 66308) pulls a long line of bogie aggregates wagons along curved railway tracks through an urban station area. Overhead electric lines and metal gantries span the tracks, while a large red-brick building stands to the left. The sky is partly cloudy, and the train is moving toward the foreground.

66308 ‘Signalman Willie Taylor’ passes through Leeds with 4D50, the Hull Dairycoates to Rylstone. I’m missing the 60s on these workings, 66s just aren’t the same!

A locomotive class synonymous with various lines over the years, one which was the Trans Pennine route. That distinctive Sulzer sound filling the air, as 45103 sits idling to itself in Leeds in the 80s. I really miss sights and sounds like this!
