This is a simple graph, the higher the vertical golden bar, the higher the death rate. And toward the top of each gold bar is the number of infant deaths per 100,000 under that population that group of states experienced in 2024. Canada ranks near the top of most efforts to rank countries by life expectancy. Our Democratic voting states have an infant death rate that is 14.4 percent higher than Canada's. The Mixed Party states death rate is 596.2, that is 212.2 deaths per 100,000 or 55.3 percent higher The Republican voting states have an infant death rate of 655.6 deaths per 100,000, that is 271.6 deaths per 100,000 or 70.7 percent higher.

Multiplying that -.4392 by 100 to estimated the death rate of the 100% smoking population the means that estimate is 86.65 minus 43.92 or a life expectancy of only 42.73 years. Now I have looked at the percent smoking and national life expectancy and found that the United States has a much lower life expectancy than the national level data, both sets of data suggest that cigarettes in the United States are much more deadly than they are in other countries,.
