OK, the current story is by the sea, so we've got fish, shellfish, marine mammals, kelp alongside the farms. Local grains include corn, but wheat, barley, rye are imported from the mainland.

The Islands are a very long archipelago (proper name: Peigrroatioshao, but the humans don't know that). Tiny nations of one to twenty islands. Tons of fishing, small farm holdings, warmer climate than most of the known world. It's a really great place to be a kid!
