#TheMostDangerousGame was allegedly the Zodiac's favorite movie, & thus made sense as a chaser after that.
This was strong, too - a taut thriller from the same team that made #KingKong 1 year later.

Saw #TheHunt - a fairly recent adaptation of #TheMostDangerousGame, where rich, smug, American liberal elites hunt everyday conservatives for sport. So the film was trying to cash in on the grievances of #Trump supporters and their perception of being “oppressed” by liberals/socialists. Ⓐ
I say #ThePest is a mediocre film - I’m one of the few adults that didn’t hate it. But I WOULD ALSO SAY #Predator is the best movie adaptation of #TheMostDangerousGame (that I’ve seen). Also, The Pest is BETTER than most adaptations of that crappy short story. Now THAT, is saying something. Ⓐ
Saw #ThePest - a parody of #TheMostDangerousGame, that I heard about while browsing #Wikipedia for movie adaptations of that short story. Needless to say, when I saw this brilliantly worded Wikipedia synopsis for the film - I knew I MUST SEE IT.

Funny - I recently read both the novel #StarshipTroopers and the short story #TheMostDangerousGame, and actor #CasperVanDien was in movie adaptations of both (which I have recently seen). He delivered (by far) the best performance in 2022’s #TheMostDangerousGameRemake, as the hunter/villain. Ⓐ
Saw #SlaveGirlsFromBeyondInfinity - a mediocre movie with a GREAT title. Despite being YET ANOTHER adaptation of #RichardConnell’s unimpressive short story #TheMostDangerousGame - Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity is (shockingly) WAY better than the 1932 film The Most Dangerous Game. Ⓐ
While looking up references to #TheMostDangerousGame in my old copy of #RobertGraysmith’s #TrueCrime book #Zodiac - I happened upon some EMBARRASSINGLY CHEESY writing by Graysmith. Fuck. I fear… I’ll have to re-read SOME books that impressed me as a teenager. Oh well. I won’t complain about #1984. Ⓐ

Saw #TheMostDangerousGame - the 1932 film that is even more squeamish than the short story it adapted. The movie adds a male drunkard (as unfunny comic relief) and the drunkard’s sister (as unnecessary love interest for the hero). Sadly, the film chose to be less bare-bones than the short story. Ⓐ
Read #RichardConnell’s lame short story #TheMostDangerousGame. I hated the ending, and was irked the hunter doesn’t explicitly say what the most dangerous game is - although the real-life #ZodiacKiller did (I hear that guy quoted a movie adaptation of the short story, that I haven’t seen yet). Ⓐ
