Wie cool ist das denn? Vor seinem Tod im Sommer 2025 hat der 97-jährige Jim Lovell noch einen Gruß für #Artemis2 aufgenommen. Er gehörte zu den ersten Menschen, die zu Weihnachten 1968 mit #Apollo8 am Mond waren.
Mit Lovells Stimme wurde gerade die Orion-Crew geweckt.
In Erinnerung an #Apollo8, die zu Weihnachten am Mond war, wurde Victor nach einer Botschaft gefragt, da #Artemis2 zu Ostern (fast) am Mond ist. Die Orion war da rund 290.000 Kilometer von der Erde entfernt.

Irgendwie ist es schon schade, dass niemand von der damaligen Crew den #Artemis2 -Start miterlebt hat. Im August 2025 ist zuletzt Jim Lovell im Alter von 97 Jahren gestorben.
