A macro photo of an orange scarab beetle from the front. The beetle's strong limbs are tipped with large claws. Its wide face has short antennae and large glossy black eyes. Its pronotum, the area just behind the head is smooth and curved and has two small black dots on the side. The elytra, the armored fore wings of beetles, is domelike in this view and also has two small dots near those of the pronotum.
