♂️ Drosophila santomea 🪰who court both ♀️ and ♂️ emit low levels of an anti-aphrodisiac pheromone both sexes dislike. It also happens to D. persimilis, another species diverging from an ancestor whose males emit much higher levels.

Alternatively, in scenario (D), divergence in nonbreeding strategies arises but does not precipitate reproductive isolation.
