A few people walk in a deep isolated red rock canyon that appears to be sculpted from one monolith of rock forming a nearly perfect U shape. The variations of red in the rock vary from a pale red along the dry canyon slickrock under the people's feet to darker and darker red as the slickrock curves into the right hand vertical wall. The bright sky is visible behind a few turns in the canyon, and a few green bushes cover the left hand, inner corner of the curving canyon.
It's easy to feel small in the red rock canyons hidden along Colorado's Dolores River. You can almost hear the echoing footsteps and voices of the hikers in the otherwise silent curves of this place.

Just east of the tunnel out of Springdale, #Utah in Zion National Park is a #trail off the road, I think it's the Many Pools trail IIRC. It provides a nice rock gradient for #hiking up amongst pooled water in the rocks' eroded holes, for #Stunday.
